*LOS ANGELES, CA — R&B sensation and Oprah Show Karaoke winner Abraham McDonald will continue the spirit of giving when he holds the last performance of his “Home For The Holidays” concert series at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28th at Busby’s Mile High Club located at 5361 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles.
The Luther Vandross-style crooner will perform his sultry yuletide single “Giving You My Heart” which is now available on iTunes, his ballad “Miracle” and other R&B hits. (Scroll down to watch.)
Part of the proceeds will go to the Rowell Foster Care Children’s Positive Plan (RFCPP), a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by actress Victoria Rowell best known for her starring role on “Young & The Restless.” (visit www.rowellfosterchildren.org.)
This concert will be a night to remember. There will be celebrity guest appearances by Kelly Price, Kenny Lattimore and KD Aubert and more as McDonald’s popularity continues to grow. The past year has been a professional whirlwind for McDonald.
With appearances on Oprah, a record deal with Island Def Jam and performances on the BudFest Tour, McDonald continues to whet fans’ appetite with his “Home For The Holiday” concert series which began in November. A child advocate, McDonald said partnering with Rowell’s organization is very important to him.
“Victoria’s program has provided the means for foster children to fulfill their potential through involvement in fine arts, sports and other programs,” said McDonald.
“As an active children’s mentor, I commend her work and am honored to play a small role in her behemoth efforts to help children in foster care.”
